Bambu began in 2012 on Caye Caulker. We knew authentic Bubble Tea, but we didn’t know much about business. That was just the prologue.
In 2014, we brought the dream home to San Ignacio. With no budget, we became the cleaners, contractors, and dreamers. We gave away tapioca for months, turning skeptics into believers. We built this by hand because the Twin Towns deserved something extraordinary.
By 2019, we expanded to Santa Elena, introducing specialty coffee to a town used to instant. We obsessed over the quality of every latte and every breakfast plate. We learnt as we went, but we made a choice: Get better, never boring. We never wanted to lose the chaos.
Today, we are proud to have ignited the cafe culture in Belize. But we are restless. We are always working on fresh ideas, building new spaces that are distinct, unexpected, and designed to be a palace for the people, offering world-class energy with a neighborhood soul.
We are built by hand, powered by community, and driven by a simple truth: Service is Black & White, but Hospitality is Color.
Welcome to Our Organized Chaos.
